Expand Sydecar’s new brand language into a cohesive suite of bold assets across marketing, web, and social.
Post-website rebrand, Sydecar tapped me to translate their product principles into a clean, consistent set of marketing assets. I built a bold, flexible system that positions them as the streamlined, modern fintech they are.
As a growing fintech, expert testimonials were key to building trust, so we developed a polished, mature graphic style for blog content and photography. By pairing color blocking with bold graphic elements and desaturated photo treatments, we gave these pages a modern sense of credibility and weight.
Sydecar relies heavily on stock photography, so creating a scalable, consistent photo treatment was essential. Tinting images in one of the five core brand colors unified quality and lighting, while a simple framing and color-blocking system made the approach easy to replicate across web, social, and print.
We built a templated graphic system also scales seamlessly to social. Its clean text and streamlined photo treatments grab attention quickly and communicate information clearly.
Much of Sydecar’s value prop is highly technical, so clear data visualization was essential. We focused on stark, simple graphics that quickly communicate complex financial concepts in an easy-to-digest way.
We created a custom icon set that extends Sydecar’s bold graphic language at a smaller scale. The icons use solid geometric forms softened by rounded edges, aligning with the rest of the brand system.
Web components needed to be more functional than the broader marketing system, while still drawing from its framing and color-blocking cues. Elements like the ROI Calculator had to balance spreadsheet-level usability with the refined, mature design established across the brand.
Because testimonials, stats, and other key info change often, we designed modular, responsive components that make updates to data and brag stats quick and seamless.
